Actuarial Science
The Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science teaches you to use mathematics, statistics and data science to analyse future risks and their financial impact. You learn to calculate the likelihood of undesirable events such as an economic crisis, a fire or a bankruptcy and mitigate these risks properly. The University of Amsterdam is the only Dutch university that offers both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s programme in Actuarial Science.
