'I have always been very interested in the world of finance. It started with hearing and seeing a lot of it on the news. Not understanding majority of it made me want to learn more about it. I wanted to study somewhere international, and Amsterdam is a very nice place to do it.'

'Being in a very diverse class gave me access to a lot of different point of views which is always exciting in a discussion. Studying in Amsterdam gave me the chance to sit in classrooms with people from different places in the world and hear their unique perspective. It also taught me to be considerate and respectful towards others. I think besides the academic part of your study, character development is also an important element. The energy is always great! The first-year courses are very broad. This way, you get a sneak peak into different subjects. My first year was challenging, but with commitment and perseverance, nothing is impossible.'
