The national online registration system Studielink will be open from 1 October 2025 until 15 January 2026. This is the 1st step in your enrolment procedure. After registering in Studielink, the 2nd step is to submit an application through My Applications. Please make sure to complete this step before the 15 January 2026 deadline. After submitting a complete application through My Applications, your eligibility for the Business Administration programme will be assessed by the Admissions Office.
The English-language track has a capacity of 750 students.
We will check your curriculum as soon as we have received your complete application. We do not do pre-checks of your curriculum to see whether you are eligible. It is therefore initially up to your judgement to see if you meet the entry requirements.
In order to be eligible, you have to meet the academic requirements as listed on the entry requirements page. Work experience can be an addition to, but no substitute for, the academic requirements.
If no specific grades are mentioned in the entry requirements or in the Diploma Finder, you do not need to obtain specific grades to meet the entry requirements. You then only have to pass your exams to be eligible for admission.
In your application, you need to upload your diploma and transcript, or an official transcript of your predicted grades. If it is not possible to upload a transcript of your predicted grades, ask your counsellor for an official statement letter with an overview of the examination courses of your final year.
An overview of the steps in your application and selection can be found in this infographic. It is important to know that the steps in your application and the selection process take place simultaneously. So make sure you take all steps to be able to start in the English track of the Bachelor's Business Administration.
You have 2.5 hours to complete the online test. The dates of the selection tests will be announced in October.
The selection test covers three topics: Mathematics, Economics and Strategy & Organisation. One week before the test you will get access to our digital learning environment Canvas. On Canvas, you find study materials and practice questions to prepare for the test.
You will take the test in English.
To change your specific test date, you can unsubscribe for the chosen selection test at sis.uva.nl and re-register for the selection test with the correct date. If that doesn’t work, please contact us via selectiontest-eb@uva.nl.
You cannot retake the selection test. Every participant can only take the test once.
No, unfortunately this is not possible. The result of both components (application process and selection process) must be positive in order to receive a ranking number and ultimately begin the programme.
You will receive your ranking number on 15 April 2026. A few days before, we will already inform you about the outcome of your selection test.
On 15 April 2026, you will receive an email from Studielink with your ranking number. The average result of the different test components determines your position on the ranking list. After this initial selection, we work with 3 groups, namely:
Note that all students that participate in our selection will receive a ranking number. We send out place offers from 15 April until 1 August. If you do not get an offer straight away, there is still a good chance you will receive a place offer on a later date.
