Macro and International Economics

The section Macro and International Economics focuses on applied and theoretical research within the areas of macro and international economics, such as business cycle analysis, fiscal policy, growth theory, international trade and finance, macro-finance, monetary economics, and pension economics.

Research programme

MInt Amsterdam is one of the research programmes of ASE-RI, the research institute of the Amsterdam School of Economics.


Members of the section Macro and International Economics teach within the Bachelor’s programmes of the College of Economics & Business, the Master’s programmes of the Graduate School of Economics and the MPhil programme of the Tinbergen Institute.
