'I have considered some aspects before choosing the Amsterdam School of Economics. I like Amsterdam, a beautiful city, the ranking of UvA is high at the QS and I the course and exam arrangement fits my needs.'
'The programme was a little bit harder than I expected, especially in the online setting, but I was able to manage. Especially Asset and Liability Management, where you use everything you learned so far in a case study, helped me to put all the information and skills of all courses together. During the programme, many work-related activities were organised. We had the chance to meet with companies, get to know their culture and hear the experiences of their employees.'
'I like studying at the Amsterdam School of Economics. We can choose electives from other programmes, which is great to expand my knowledge and broaden my horizon. Students from the ASE are open-minded and friendly. We are encouraged to develop critical thinking and a cooperative mindset. We have a lot of social events to get to know each other and relax.
Amsterdam is a beautiful city with its canals and the campus located in the canal area. I like that the city is multicultural, that it has many facilities and that I can go everywhere on my bike.'
'My plan after this Master’s is to start looking for a job in Amsterdam, maybe related to trading and risk management. I’ll also continue to learn new things, like programming and database languages.'
