Your application for a programme at the University of Amsterdam starts in Studielink; the national online registration system for students who would like to pursue a degree programme at a Dutch university. You need to register in Studielink before you can apply to the programme of your choice.
Your registration in Studielink takes 3 steps.
Your DigiD (Digital Identification) is your online ID (username and password) that provides access to Dutch government administration websites.
Go to the Studielink website to start your registration. Please note that this is not an application to the Master's programme. Your eligibility needs to be assessed by the Admissions Office too. Find step by step plans and FAQ about Studielink on their website.
When you finish the registration in Studielink you will receive a confirmation email from the Studielink system. You will also receive an email from the University of Amsterdam with your UvAnetID (student number). You can start the online application for the programme of your choice, via Embark. Embark is the system where you have to apply to the programme by describing your educational background and uploading required documents. Only after submitting your complete application the Admissions Office will assess your eligibility to the programme.
