The EQUIS reaccreditation visit of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) took place in December 2023. A committee of 3 international deans of European business schools and a representative from industry visited UvA EB. They held 3 days of interviews with representatives from management, the education and research directors, academic staff, supporting staff, students, external contacts and alumni. The visit was a great success.

The committee was impressed by the high quality of teaching, pioneering research and the impact of students, staff and alumni. According to the committee, UvA EB is 'a business school of high repute'. The strong research reputation, the high level of teaching, the high level of internationalisation and the high degree to which ERS (ethics, responsibility and sustainability) is reflected in teaching and research were considered by the committee as very strong points.
