This series introduces us to a different employee every week. Find out what they most enjoy about their job and learn things you might not know about them yet. This week: Liesbeth Zagers, secretary of the UvA EB Examination Board.

What do you like most about your job?

The variety! No day is the same, students (and colleagues) keep surprising me with new questions.

Is there a project from this past year you are particularly proud of?

I’m not a researcher and don’t work on a project basis, but I am proud of my team 'Secretariat Examination Board'. It is a fun group of girls who are not easily rattled and get a lot of work done. Usually this happens in (concentrated) silence, but there are moments in which our office is bustling and there is a cacophony of sound.

What don’t most colleagues know about you?

That I almost always have music on at home. I’m mostly into the heavier stuff (Foo Fighters, Rammstein, Queensrych, Iron Maiden, Linkin Park).
