The section Macro and International Economics focuses on applied and theoretical research within the areas of macro and international economics, such as business cycle analysis, fiscal policy, growth theory, international trade and finance, macro-finance, monetary economics, and pension economics.
The section Macro and International Economics includes research programme MInt Amsterdam. Within this research programme, focus is on applied and theoretical research within the areas of macroeconomics and international economics.
Members of the section Macro and International Economics teach within the Bachelor’s programmes of Economics and Business, the Master’s programmes of the Amsterdam School of Economics and the Research Master in Economics (Tinbergen Institute).
