Andrea Weihrauch chosen EB Lecturer of the Year

Andrea Weihrauch (ABS assistant professor of Strategy) has been chosen as Lecturer of the Year at UvA Economics and Business.

The announcement was made by Rector Magnificus Karen Maex during the UvA Hour of Education online event on Thursday, 28 May.
According to Maex, Weihrauch was described as a lecturer 'who knows how to motivate students using her empathy and enthusiasm. During the corona crisis, her course has been described as a shining light and mind blowing'.

The other faculty winners of the Lecturer of the Year award are Alex de Koter (Faculty of Science), Bart Wallet (Humanities), Myrna Roks (ACTA), René Smits (Faculty of Law) and Sharon Klinkenberg (Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences). The UvA Lecturer of the Year will be announced during Education Day in October.
