Cees Duin - ASE:
Short-cuts to Shortest paths: a trip through computational wonderland
Abstract of the presentation:
After the lecture, participants know how new algorithms can determine shortest paths (between all-pairs of nodes in a network faster than before. Other subjects are:
- why is it important to improve on classical shortest path algorithms?
- under what circumstances can the shortest path problem be difficult?
The lecture builds from the ground up, assuming little knowledge as background.
