Robin Döttling's research spans the areas of banking, corporate finance and macroeconomics. He develops a dynamic macro-banking model to study how the zero-lower bound on deposit rates affects banking regulation and risk taking. He also investigates the effect of technological developments and the growing importance of intangible capital on corporate finance, investment and the wider macro-economy.
