The Amsterdam School of Economics offers several excellent bachelor and master programmes in economics, econometrics, actuarial science and operations research & management and has a strong emphasis on research.

The school is also a partner in the European Doctorate in Economics Erasmus Mundus (EDEEM) Programme.

ASE aims to prepare students for a career in research or a leading position in the public or private sector. Its educational programme is based on the academic ideal of intertwined research and teaching. In addition to the regular master's programmes, ASE also has a two-year research master, the Master of Philosophy in Economics (MPhil), based at the Tinbergen Institute.
