The BEAM-ABEE workshop on behavioural economics and laboratory experiments will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 August. Anyone interested in attending is cordially invited to attend one or more workshop sessions.
Over the last few years there has been a strong rise in interest in behavioural economics and laboratory experiments. For example, this approach has been successful in studying bubbles in financial markets and identifying the dynamics of expectations in understanding the effect of various policy measures.
The list of speakers includes John Duffy (University of California, Irvine), Michael Kirchler (University of Innsbruck) and David Porter (Chapman University).
