ASE successful at the 2017 International Job Market
The Amsterdam School of Economics (ASE) succeeded in filling two vacancies for tenure track positions during the 2017 International Job Market.
Of the 40 candidates interviewed at the AEA (American Economics Association) / ASSA (Allied Social Sciences Associations) meetings in Chicago, nine were invited for a fly-out to Amsterdam during the past few weeks.
The two candidates below have now accepted their job offer:
- Ms Stefanie Huber of the Department of Economics and Business, Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She will be an Assistant Professor in Experimental Macroeconomics for the Research Priority Area Behavioural Economics/Complex Human Systems Lab, in the Quantitative Economics section.
- Ms Lu Yang of the Department of Statistics, University of Wisconsin-Madison. She will be an Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science and Mathematical Finance, in the Quantitative Economics section.
The Amsterdam School of Economics is very pleased with the arrival of these excellent candidates. Both will take up their duties starting in August and September of this year.
